Covid-19 Updates

POLICY AS OF 4/1/2022: Fully vaccinated students are not required to wear a mask.  We require unvaccinated students to wear a mask at all times while in the studio.  The only exception to this is for private parties.  Groups attending private parties are known to each other and are not required to wear a mask.

At the time of first registration, our system asks you to complete the "Vaccination status" field.  Respond with "Yes" or "No" accordingly.  If you need to update this field at any time, simply contact us and we can update the field for you.

We will continuously review this policy in accordance with CDC guidance, mandates and current events.

Coronavirus: By now we all know what covid-19 is and that it can spread by inhaling respiratory droplets of an infected person, or touching a contaminated surface and then touching your eyes, nose and/or mouth.  We do our best to keep a safe and sanitary environment.  However, attending any fitness class puts you at an increased risk for contracting COVID-19 and variants than if you were to stay at home. Attending class is your acknowledgement of this risk.

Masks: On June 28, 2021, we stated that fully vaccinated students could choose whether or not to wear a mask while we asked all unvaccinated students to continue to wear a mask at all times.  CDC guidance has been updated since that time.   Read the "When you've been fully vaccinated" guidance here.

Spacing & Social Distancing: We are still limiting class size at this time.  Only 7 students should be on the dance floor at a time.   We ask that you be cognizant to maintain space between you and other students as much as possible at all times.  All of our poles are more than 6 feet apart.  You may take turns sharing a pole with other students during class.

Class Timing:  To avoid congregation and cross over, please do not arrive more than 5 minutes prior to class.  We ask that you also leave promptly when your class is over.

Spotting: Teacher spotting of students during new or advanced moves is limited unless a fully vaccinated student wishes to be spotted.

Walk-In’s: We do not allow walk-in’s at any time.  Please register in advance to secure your spot in class and to ensure we do not exceed the class limit.

Sanitizing the Poles & Equipment: As mentioned on our FAQ page, the poles are sanitized between use by using rubbing alcohol.  Please clean the poles after you are done by wiping them down with the rubbing alcohol solution provided.   We ask the you use the hand sanitizer provided before touching the spray bottles and keep the same spray bottle for the duration of class.

Pole Crash Pad: If you use the crash pad pole mat, please be sure to wipe it down before the end of class.

CDC Guidance: Please stay informed regarding out of state travel recommendations on the CDC website.

If you feel sick, have been around someone who has been sick, or for any other reason think you may have been exposed to the virus, please let us know and stay home!  We can offer a class credit when it is safe and you are ready to come back.

Please continue to be responsible inside and outside the studio. It's important to use common sense and take precautions in the community to keep everyone safe!
